The 4th of July falls on Friday this year. We get to celebrate with a three day week-end -at least most of us. We love watching the sky light up with millions of lights in celebration of freedom. When we lived in the city we watched the fireworks fom our patio. Buster, our dog, wasn't too happy with the sound of the fierce "booms" that filled the air. He spent his evening hiding under the bed! Now, we sit with friends on the bank of the river with a cooler of snacks and a few cold drinks while we enjoy the sparkles that light up the sky. And Buster, he stays home where the fireworks can't be heard from where we live now. I'm looking forward to the long week-end and celebrating the 4th! How about you?
