The beauty of spring bulbs always brings on the "spring fever" in me. Flowering bulbs are beautiful and when planting time arrives in the fall, I'm about done with my yard and flower beds until the following spring. I take the easy way and plant flowering bulbs in the spring. The problem, as you know, the flowers just don't last very long. This year I thought I'd buy pretty purple hyacinths for the front of my yard along with several flats of pansies.
